Inclusive design is a concept that can make a difference. Here two members of the Rica consumer research panel share brief insights into their need for inclusive design products.


Elizabeth is partially sighted and lives in North London. She is the co-ordinator for Islington Talking Newspaper, a member of the London Visual Impairment Forum and an active member of the National Federation of the Blind.

Elizabeth's home is set up as a tactile environment so she knows where to find everything and one of her hobbies wine making:



Graham is blind and uses his smartphone to navigate around London. He found that a one-touch coffee machine is a product that he can use because it has been designed to be inclusive. Click to listen to Graham below:
