Dr Deborah Horowitz is a commercial, banking and aviation barrister at Fountain Court Chambers in London. She is originally from Melbourne, Australia, where she completed her undergraduate degrees (BA (Hons) and LLB (Hons)) and trained as a solicitor, before moving to the UK to complete BCL (Dist), MPhil (Dist) and DPhil degrees at the University of Oxford. Her doctorate was in cross-border financial transactions, and was published by OUP as a thrilling page-turner - Letters of Credit and Demand Guarantees: Defences to Payment.
She worked as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London, before becoming a barrister in 2010. Deborah is committed to assisting the disabled community, and she is delighted to serve as a trustee of the RiDC.
