I bought a Road King mobility scooter from Pro Rider’s online store. It’s an 8 MPH, Class 3 vehicle with an 1100W motor, which basically means it’s the nuts. It cost £949, which I’m miffed about because had I bought it last week the price was £899.
I live north of Cardiff and have used mobility scooters for nine years. My local station is being fitted with a ramp from the road which will be ready soon - only three and a half years later than expected. However, I've a question about Class 2 and Class 3 scooters.
As disabled and elderly users of mobility scooters, lets band together to insist that companies who claim to have our best interests at heart don’t rip us off! A fair price for mobility scooter servicing is between £60 and £90 including travel cost and basic repairs.
