Age UK: mystery shopping

Age UK logoIt is important to ensure that older consumers can easily find good quality products that suit their needs, and that they aren't pressurised into buying.

Since 2012 our mystery shopping insight research has helped Age UK, and now Age Co to ensure that their trading partners selling independent living products are doing a good job and treating their customers.

RiDC's research has included hundreds of home visit and telephone investigations of stairlifts, bathing products, mobility scooters, specialist beds and hearing aids. Consumer panel members have reported back on their experiences of contacting the companies, the sales visit, the information provided by the companies and any follow up.
