We test the accessibility of digital products and how people with impairments use and interact with them.
Digital accessibility is all about building digital content and applications that can be used by a wide range of people, including people who have visual, motor, auditory, speech, or cognitive disabilities.
At RiDC we
- have extensive experience of testing the accessibility of existing and prototype websites, apps and digital communications
- work on SMART products, exploring the interface between product usability and digital accessibility
- explore the full range of user experiences, including for customers who use assistive technology such as a screen reader or voice output technologies
- involve members of our UK wide Consumer Panel of 1000+ disabled and older people.
Recent work includes research into banking apps, banking websites, SMART heating controls, SMART washing machines and email communications.
